Ronald Reagan (not that one) is a maladjusted millennial lawyer who exists in a constant state of unwavering devotion to whatever side of the political spectrum he happens to have woken up on that morning. Desperate to find an identity that suits him, Ronald shuffles between living life as a far-left anti-fascist activist who puts political correctness before self-preservation and as an alt-right disciple of MAGA looking to destroy wokeness and healthcare as a human right.

During an extended stint as a red-pilled neo-fascist, Ronald decides to burn down a library in a fit of anti-intellectual rage, as he finds himself triggered by any word that starts with lib. Before he can set the building aflame, he is knocked unconscious by an unseen assailant. When he finally wakes up, he finds himself in an unfamiliar office building in the year 2071 as an eighty-year-old slave whose entire life has passed him by. Earth is now run by the brutal One World government and dictated by Ronald's ex-girlfriend's serial killer brother, Rick. When the leaders of a time-traveling rebellion discover Ronald's close personal history with their dictator, they realize he may be their only hope in stopping Rick from ever coming to power in the first place. The only issue is that Ronald is still an obsessive right-wing fanatic who is more than happy to live out the rest of his life as an oppressed slave serving the interests of a billionaire autocrat. Despite his objections, Ronald is sent back in time by the rebellion to re-experience his entire life out of order in the hope that something in his past is the key to saving the future. As he re-bears witness to a horrible life filled with second-grade gang violence, Proud Boy prostitutes, and satanic child sacrifices by popular sitcom stars, Ronald begins to realize his entire existence is less the horrific cosmic accident he had thought, and more so, a carefully orchestrated series of disasters that may just be the key to all of Rick's power.
